Apple Butter Tacos with Mango Cilantro Salsa and Cream Puff Pudding Cake
I scouted out their nearest location and, after visiting their website and reserving my items online (which is a great feature!), I went to visit their storefront. The staff was very keen to help me out- some were even offering recipe ideas! Aside from being knowledgeable about their products, the employees clearly enjoyed the M and M products themselves.
M and M Meat Shops has recently expanded their repertoire to include flash frozen fruits and vegetables, desserts and cakes, and many other dishes. This certainly compliments their frozen meats and prepared dishes, and makes them a great go-to if you’re like me and you appreciate having something in the freezer for those busy week days.
Here are two fun recipes you can make at home using some of their top-notch items:
If you’re looking for fun appetizer ideas, look no further than these Apple Butter Pork Tacos with Mango Cilantro Salsa. They are the perfect combination of sweet and salty, and give a generous pop of freshness from the cilantro and pickled onions. These tacos make fantastic appetizers no matter what you’re celebrating, and your guests can dress them themselves so you can spend more time relaxing and less time prepping in the kitchen.
End your holiday party on a sweet note by making this rich and indulgent Cream Puff Pudding Cake. This is the ultimate indulgence treat that is somewhat reminiscent of a log cake, but also ten times easier to make and can be put together up to a week in advance! The best part? You can cut down on prep time even further by purchasing all the ingredients instead of doing the homemade versions.
